Ingredients

  • Mixed greens (spring mix)

  • Cherry tomatoes (halved)

  • Red onion (thinly sliced)

  • Avocado

  • Jack Link’s BBQ pork jerky (chopped)

  • BBQ ranch dressing


Instructions

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, and diced avocado. Top with chopped BBQ pork jerky. Drizzle with BBQ ranch dressing and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately as a flavourful spring salad.

#2 Pork BBQ Jerky Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients

  • Flatbread or pizza crust

  • BBQ sauce

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Red onion (sliced)

  • Fresh coriander

  • BBQ-flavoured pork jerky (shredded) 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Spread BBQ sauce over the flatbread or pizza crust. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with sliced red onion, fresh coriander, and shredded BBQ pork jerky. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice and serve hot.

#3 Bacon Jerky and Potato Hash

  • BBQ-flavoured pork jerky (shredded)

Instructions

Prepare coleslaw by combining coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toast slider buns. Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with shredded BBQ pork jerky and a spoonful of coleslaw. Place the top half of the bun over the filling. Serve as tasty sliders for a springtime gathering or picnic.

  • Garlic (minced)

  • Ginger (grated)

  • Soy sauce

  • Hoisin sauce

  • Sesame oil

  • Cooked rice


Instructions

In a wok or frypan, stir-fry sliced bacon jerky until lightly browned. Add mixed vegetables, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and a drizzle of sesame oil. Serve over cooked rice for a quick and flavourful springtime stir fry with a twist!
