On Supporting Australia’s Sport Scene
7 February 2024
Hey all you meat lovers out there, can you believe we are half way into 2022 already? So that means you have had plenty of time to achieve your New Year’s resolutions by now!
Here is how we are going:
- Eat a lot of Jack Link’s – nailed it!
- Trying every single flavor of jerky we have to offer – completed on the 1st of Jan!
- Swapping out chips and candy for jerky – hmmm are people still eating that stuff?
- Support our sporting communities – tick, tick, tick
Chevy and Brock (yes they come from a motorsports family in case you couldn’t tell), not only help us share the jerky love with sampling at events, creating amazing content for us, but to see the Jack Link’s vehicle branding flash across the finish line in first place is something else.
Now, I hear you saying between jerky mouthfuls, “yeah but everyone is doing it”, and you are totally right. Sports sponsorship has been around as long as pilgrims have been drying meat, and more recently companies like Red Bull and Nike has made an artform from it. In fact, in the Redbull case, the sponsorship of just about everything extreme in sports has arguably surpasses the core product in notoriety.
We don’t see us being a Redbull anytime soon, but we are building our meat eating sporting community. Aside from Edwards Motorsports, we have some pretty damn cool partnerships going on.
The NRL Sydney Roosters and AFL Brisbane Lions not only work with us to get our products out there though sampling at their home games but we love to see our brand up in lights on the ground LED advertising panels and the ground’s big screen. What’s even better than that, both their team dieticians include our protein rich product on the players dietary plans. Surprise, surprise, who would’ve thought that our premium beef and ham products would be perfect for after game recovery protein snack!
So to all our partners, keep up the great work in sharing Jack Link’s with the sporting world, and do us proud as we head to the pointing end of the seasons.
