Isolation Lunch… Made Tasty!

Add these ‘Jerky Garlic Parmesan Potatoes’ to your survival list for a mouth-watering lunchtime treat!

Let’s face it, we are all going a bit stir-crazy stuck at home, luckily Suck Knuckle Smokers are one step ahead bringing the restaurant to your kitchen.

The Jerky Garlic Parmesan Potatoes are the perfect combo of crunch and soft – oh and pretty damn easy to cook up!

Follow these simple steps, for an isolation lunch made tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 7 potatoes peeled and cut in half 1/4c parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 litre chicken stock
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 50g Jack links beef jerky, cut into small pieces
  • 1 red chilli chopped
  • Any fresh herbs chopped (parsley, thyme, rosemary) salt and pepper

How to get it done:

  • Pre-head over to 200°c
  • Simmer potatoes in chicken stock for 8-10 minutes, drain
  • Slice the spuds on the top multiple times. (These will be studded with jerky later)
  • Put spuds in a bowl and add butter, salt and pepper
  • Place into the preheated pan, flat side down then polish the top with what you have all been waiting for – Jack Links jerky
  • Roast at 200°c for 20 minutes before adding the parmesan cheese and cooking for a further 10 minutes
  • Sprinkle with chill and herbs to serve
