Paleo. It sounds like something your mum sprinkles on her morning cereal. But did you know this Paleo thing means you get to eat ALL the meat you want!

True story.

How you may ask do you get away with a meat heavy meal plan?  We’re going to keep it short and sweet. Paleo is a diet designed to resemble eating what our hunter-gatherer ancestors would have back before civilisation was invented – whole foods. This includes meat, fish, veggies & nuts. Is it for everyone? Probably bloody not – but it has shown to have some legit positive effects on health.

So why are we talking about paleo? Well.. Jack Link’s Biltong is the perfect paleo snack! This tasty treat is super high in protein, low in sugar and marinated with a heap of natural spices. So next time you feel like embracing your inner caveman – grab a pack of Biltong!

EAT:

  • Meat (including our biltong)
  • Fish
  • Fruit
  • Vegetables

  • Oils (flaxseed, walnut, olive, macadamia, coconut, and avocado)
  • Herbs & Spices 

AVOID:

  • Chips
  • Soft drink
  • Lollies
  • Grains
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable oils
  • Most dairy products 
  • Beer (sorry, we don’t make the rules)
