Race Revolution  (previously known as Snowy Mountains 1000) was hosted on Saturday 1st September in it’s new home location of Gunnedah NSW.

There was much excitement surrounding this events new name and predominately half mile distance, racing over an 800m. This saw over 140 competing entrants and a brilliant range of vehicles participating this year including some top performances from a Toyota Supra, R34 Nissan GT-R and Audi RS3.

Winner winner!

However, this year saw an epic 6.9-litre twin turbo V8 2009 Jeep Cherokee taking out first place by Manny Dalakakis – hitting 300km/ph on run 6! This beast of a car proudly boasts the quickest overall time clocking 14.55 seconds!

“I can stand corrected if I am wrong, but this is the quickest jeep over a half mile world wide. I’ll go as far to say any SUV world wide,” Dalakakis said on his Facebook page. We were certainly in awe of it’s power, quoted by Dalakakis as “a Jeep on a shoestring budget”. Kudos to you!

Jack Link’s were on ground this year, enjoying the action packed day whilst handing out mega volumes of free jerky samples and stickers. Our fans were enjoying the flavoursome snacks and gave us lots of great feedback on the taste. We sure felt the love that day!
