This summer will be a *little* different than past years, but that doesn’t mean we all can’t have a fun and adventurous covid-safe summer.
So, when the Christmas family commitments are done and dusted and you need some inspiration/reminder of what is out there beyond the loungeroom, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite summer bucket list ideas.
Hit the water
Kiteboarding, surfing, jet skiing, paddle boarding… the amount of activities you can do on the water is endless. So go out this summer and give yourself a reminder to why Australia is famous for their beaches. And don’t forget friends, slip, slop, slap!
Bottomless brunch for the win
Unlike our mates in the Northern hemisphere with their snowy white Christmases (the jealousy is real), we’re fortunate to have warm and sunny days over our Christmas break. So whether you like mocktails or cocktails, a bottomless brunch at your fav hangout needs to happen ASAP.
The sky’s the limit
If this year has shown us anything, it is that we are stronger than we think.
So take that new found strength and get your heart pumping with a good old fashioned bungy jump! If that’s too plain for you, you can always try sky-diving #feedyourwildside
Rooftop/outdoor cinema extravaganza
Get that beef jerky, mix it up in your overpriced popcorn and breathe in that fresh air you have craved for so long. Impress a date or enjoy with mates, either way it will be an unforgettable evening and a major bucket list tick!
Stare down an Aussie creepy crawly
Has it really been an Australian summer if you haven’t come face to face with a giant spider? You don’t need to plan for this one, just have your wild side plus a container and paper ready for when the time presents itself. May the force be with you.
That’s it from us wild carnivores. It’s now in your hands to let loose (in a covid-safe way) and unleash your inner summer. Have a happy and safe holiday season. See you in 2021!
